Hanshi Sid Rayford-9th Dan owner and operator of the Merced, California Shorin-Ryu Dojo is now the association Vice-President. Sid Campbell's Vision
Hanshi Sid Campbell wanted to create an organization that would be free of any political or monetary influence. As a pioneer of Shorin-Ryu to the West, Sid Campbell had witnessed changes in organizations that seemed to shift the focus away from the preservation of the art of Shorin-Ryu Karate. The mission statement of WOSKKA was therefore a short and simple one... Preserving the Past, Unifying the Present, and Strengthening the Future
